The 77K community came together for a viewing and celebration of Josiah’s award winning film, “Tomorrow Starts Now.” There were speeches from Principal Russell, our Superintendendent, Dr. Keisha McCoy, Ms. Katherine and Mr. Tyler, Josiah’s mom, and many invited guests! Check out this week’s episode of the Roaring Rundown to see students’ interviews with representatives from the Mayor’s Office, Brooklyn and Bronx Borough Presidents Office, Green Bronx Machine, and many others that came to celebrate. Best of all, everyone that came got to taste a home grown salad with Josiah’s famous basil dressing!

The students in Mr. Tyler’s class at 77K started a school farm stand that is so popular they can barely keep up with demand! This means that the students have to keep planting so that there are always more fresh greens for the community. Here they are on a recent Monday planting more seeds and taking care of their classroom grow towers.

Thank you, Katherine Marte at 77K, for these indoor garden photographs.
