Garden Day 2024 was a success! We had a beautiful spring day of sharing, leading tours and exploring in the gardens at BBG. Nearly 400 students from 42 classes around the district participated in Garden Partnerships this year with a focus on the theme of TREES. Check out the class presentations on our Garden Day Wakelet page and the compilation video here.

Check out these photos from our two teacher PDs at the Brooklyn Botanic and New York Botanical Gardens. Over 40 teachers from 32 different school sites visited the gardens to observe, explore and learn more about our theme for the year- Trees!

Plant Learn Grow’s very own Cara had “first-hand” experience with this Sensitive plant, which responds to touch by folding up its leaves.
